Who we are
A local team, planning trips on the ground
V Go Ceylon is a Sri Lanka tour-planning and destination-wedding company based at Longdon Place in Colombo 7. We are not a booking portal reselling somebody else's product. The people who write your itinerary are in the same time zone as the hotels, the drivers and the site offices — which is why a change of plan on a Tuesday afternoon gets sorted on Tuesday afternoon.
Two kinds of work come through the door. The first is travel: private, chauffeur-driven itineraries of roughly six to eleven nights, covering the Cultural Triangle, the hill country, the wildlife parks and the southern coast. The second is weddings: full-service coordination of destination ceremonies, receptions and the guest travel that surrounds them.
They overlap more often than you would expect. A couple marrying in Sri Lanka usually brings twenty or thirty people who have never been to the island and would quite like to see it. Because both sides sit with the same team, that gets planned as one thing.

How we work
Four things we refuse to be vague about
Most complaints about tours in this part of the world come down to the same handful of surprises. These are ours to prevent.
The price basis is stated
Per person, sharing room, in US Dollars, with card payment facilitation fees of 3.15% disclosed rather than folded quietly into a total.
Cancellation is written out
Separate tiers for individual travellers (FIT), groups (GIT) and hotel-only reservations, given to you in full at quotation stage.
One thread, one team
The person who plans your trip is reachable while you are on it. No handover to a night desk that has never read your itinerary.

Availability moves fast in peak season, particularly December to April on the south coast. Where a named property cannot take your dates, we quote a similar hotel in the same category and flag the substitution clearly in the itinerary.

Our office is at 30/62 F Longdon Place, Malasekera Mawatha, Colombo 7, Sri Lanka. Every itinerary is planned, priced and operated from there, and our vehicles and chauffeur-guides work island-wide — from Jaffna in the north to Tangalle in the deep south.
Yes, and the same team does both. That matters when a wedding brings guests who also want to see the island: the ceremony, the guest hotels and the post-wedding tour get coordinated together rather than split between a wedding planner and a separate travel agent who have never spoken.
Our published packages are starting points, not fixed departures. Most guests change something — an extra night in Ella, a different hotel category, a shorter drive on arrival day. We revise until the plan reads the way you actually want to travel, then price that version.
We work with established properties across the island, including Shangri-La Colombo, Amari Colombo, Heritance Kandalama, Cinnamon Lodge Habarana and Anantara Tangalle. Every quotation names the exact hotel and room category. If a property is full for your dates, we offer a similar alternative in the same category and tell you before you confirm.
Enquiries and itineraries are handled in English, and our chauffeur-guides guide in English. Sinhala and Tamil are spoken across the team, which means local arrangements — a site office, a last-minute hotel change, a permit — are made directly rather than through an intermediary.
