Planning Your Trip

Six nights covers the classic first-timer route (Colombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle) comfortably. Seven nights adds whale watching in Mirissa, and ten nights lets you add the deep south coast at Tangalle without rushing any single stop.

Yes. Every package below is a starting point, not a fixed departure. We commonly adjust the number of nights per stop, swap a hotel category, or add a day — then reprice the version you actually want.

Each package page shows the hotel and room category for every stop instead of a fixed price, since rates depend on your travel dates and party size. Send your dates through the enquiry form for a costed quote.

Yes. Every package includes a private air-conditioned vehicle and an English-speaking chauffeur-guide for the whole route, plus airport pickup and drop-off.

Tell us the nights you have and what matters most to you — we build a custom itinerary from a blank page rather than fitting you into one of the three packages below.

Two things: private, chauffeur-guided Sri Lanka tour planning, and full-service destination wedding coordination. Both are run by the same Colombo-based team.

Yes — that's one of the reasons the two services sit under one roof. A couple's ceremony, their guests' hotels and a post-wedding tour of the island get coordinated as one plan rather than split across separate suppliers.

Both. Our three published tour packages are starting points you can adjust, and we also build fully custom itineraries from a blank page for guests who want something the packages don't cover.

No fixed minimum — our published packages run from 6 to 10 nights, and wedding planning scales from an intimate ceremony to a full guest-travel operation, depending on what you need.

Send your travel dates (for a tour) or your wedding date and rough guest count (for a wedding) through the contact form, and we reply with a costed plan — usually within one working day.

10 Nights / 11 Days — Grand Island Loop View this itinerary in full →

It's a starting point. We commonly adjust the split between Sigiriya and Kandy, swap a hotel category, or shorten the Tangalle stay to add a night elsewhere — then reprice the version you want.

Shangri-La Colombo, Heritance Kandalama in Sigiriya, Earls Regency in Kandy, The Golden Ridge in Nuwara Eliya, Anantara Tangalle, and Cinnamon Life in Colombo, or a similar property in the same category if a hotel is full for your dates.

Yes, a jeep safari at Minneriya National Park is included on Day 3, alongside the Sigiriya Lion Rock climb the same morning.

A full day, Day 8, is left unstructured at the beach in Tangalle, on top of leisure time built into most other afternoons.

Airfare and visa charges, tips and portage, early check-in or late check-out, and any entrance fee not listed under What's Included. Full detail is on the Tariff & Booking Policy page.

7 Nights / 8 Days — Culture, Hills & Whales View this itinerary in full →

Whale watching off Mirissa runs best from November to April, which also happens to be dry season on the south and west coasts this route covers — the two line up well.

No wildlife sighting can be guaranteed, but Mirissa is one of the world's most reliable spots for sperm, fin and blue whales in season, and the morning boat trip is timed for the best viewing window.

Cinnamon Lodge in Sigiriya, Kandy Myst, Araliya Green City in Nuwara Eliya, Mandara Mirissa on the south coast, and Amari Colombo, or a similar property in the same category if a hotel is full for your dates.

Yes, the Nine Arch Bridge, Ravana Caves and Ravana Falls are all visited on Day 5, on the transfer from Nuwara Eliya down to Mirissa via Ella.

Airfare and visa charges, tips and portage, early check-in or late check-out, and any entrance fee not listed under What's Included. Full detail is on the Tariff & Booking Policy page.

6 Nights / 7 Days — Highlights of Sri Lanka View this itinerary in full →

Yes — it's built as a first-timer's route, covering Kandy's sacred sites, the hill country around Nuwara Eliya, and Galle Fort on the coast without the longer drives a full island loop involves.

No, this 6-night route focuses on Colombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Galle. Sigiriya and the Cultural Triangle are covered on the 7-night and 10-night packages, or we can add a Sigiriya extension to this route on request.

Amari Colombo, Kandy Myst, Araliya Green City in Nuwara Eliya, and Araliya Beach Resort & Spa in Galle, or a similar property in the same category if a hotel is full for your dates.

Yes, Day 6 includes an evening at Unawatuna Beach after the Galle Fort tour, alongside leisure time at the hotel.

Airfare and visa charges, tips and portage, early check-in or late check-out, and any entrance fee not listed under What's Included. Full detail is on the Tariff & Booking Policy page.

Destinations & Places to Visit

Destinations See all destinations →

Our packages and custom itineraries draw from eight core destinations — Colombo, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Galle, Tangalle and Mirissa — with the exact stops depending on the route and nights you choose.

It's possible but tightly packed — most guests choose five or six of these across a 6 to 10-night itinerary, since the value is in unhurried time at each stop rather than a rushed checklist.

Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Galle cover the classic first-timer route in under a week; Sigiriya and Mirissa are usually added on longer trips.

Yes — these eight are the most common stops on our itineraries, but we can build a route around other parts of the island on request.

Yes, the three packages on our Tour Packages page route through a combination of these eight destinations — see each package for its specific stops.

Places to Visit See all places to visit →

Fourteen core attractions across the island — from Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to Mirissa whale watching — feature across our tour packages and custom itineraries.

Each is included in the specific packages that route through its area — check each attraction's page or the relevant tour package for exact inclusion.

Yes, custom itineraries can include stops beyond this list — tell us what you'd like to see and we'll build the route around it.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Minneriya National Park and Mirissa whale watching are the three strongest wildlife experiences across our routes.

Entrance fees for the attractions listed on each tour package's overview are included in that package's tariff — see the specific package for what's covered.

Destination Weddings

Six areas of coordination: personalised planning, theme and decor, stationery and vendors, entertainment and travel, event coordination, and guest experience — covering the ceremony, the reception and the travel arrangements around them.

Yes. Entertainment and travel arrangements for your guests are coordinated by the same team planning the ceremony and reception, so a wedding party's tour of the island is planned alongside the wedding itself rather than by a separate agent.

It means vendor costs and arrangements are managed openly as part of the guest experience offering, rather than folded into an opaque total — you see what's being arranged and by whom.

Yes. Theme and decor starts with a custom colour palette and moodboard built around your style, with the venue setup designed to match.

Send your wedding date, location and rough guest count through the contact form with "Wedding" selected — we reply with next steps, usually within one working day.

Pricing & Booking Policy

A payment facilitation fee of 3.15% applies for local card payments, and a separate 3.15% online payment facilitation fee applies for payments made online. Both are added to your invoice value, not folded into the quoted tariff.

Refunds are not given for unused or cancelled services once the tour has commenced. Before departure, cancellation charges scale with how close to your departure date the written notice is received — see the cancellation tiers below.

Deposit and payment arrangements are confirmed directly with our team once you enquire, since this site does not process payments or display bank details. Contact us with your dates for the specifics that apply to your booking.

Cancellation charges increase the closer you are to departure — from a partial charge around three to four weeks out, up to 100% of the package price for cancellations made one to four days before departure or in the case of a no-show.

Tariffs are quoted per person, sharing a room, in US Dollars, based on the specific hotels and room categories shown for your itinerary. Send your travel dates through the contact form for a costed quote.

Tours are quoted and invoiced in US Dollars. For walk-in or local, in-country payments, we can also accept Sri Lankan Rupees, converted at the prevailing exchange rate on the day of payment.

Sri Lanka Travel Tips

Hand-woven sarongs from Barefoot, Ceylon tea, cashew nuts from Kadjugama, and a bottle of local arrack are the classic picks — all reasonably priced and easy to pack.

Egg hoppers with seeni sambol, chilli crab, buffalo curd and treacle, and cashew nut curry are among the dishes most worth seeking out.

No — English is widely spoken, especially by chauffeur-guides and in hotels, but a few Sinhala phrases go a long way with locals outside the main tourist areas.

Eight, spread across the island's Cultural Triangle, hill country and southern coast — several feature directly in our tour itineraries.

The island has 1,340 km of tropical coastline, with the west and south coasts driest from December to April and the east coast driest from May to September.
