How a tour is priced
Quoted in US Dollars
All rates across every package on this site are quoted in US$, so there's one consistent currency to compare against.
Confirmed after you enquire
No package states a final price up front — send your dates and we reply with a costed quote.
Tours are quoted and invoiced in US Dollars. For walk-in or local, in-country payments, we can also accept Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR), converted at the prevailing exchange rate on the day of payment. We do not publish bank account details or process payments on this site; deposit and payment arrangements are confirmed directly with our team once you enquire.

Cancellation policy
Three tiers, depending on how you booked
Refunds are not given for unused or cancelled services once a tour has commenced. Charges are calculated from the day written notice is received, as a percentage of the net tour price. Full tier detail is repeated on each tour package page.
FIT — individual travellers
- 29–21 days before departure: costs incurred
- 20–15 days before departure: 25% of package price
- 14–8 days before departure: 50% of package price
- 7–5 days before departure: 75% of package price
- 4–1 day before, or no-show: 100% of package price
GIT — groups
- Cancellations due to minimum group size are advised 6 weeks before departure
- We offer an alternative tour of similar standard, or a full refund
- Cancellation terms for group bookings are confirmed case by case
Hotel reservation only
- 29–21 days before: 30% of accommodation price
- 20–15 days before: 60% of accommodation price
- 14–0 days before: 100% of accommodation price
- Some hotels apply stricter terms, advised separately

Questions about pricing and cancellation
A payment facilitation fee of 3.15% applies for local card payments, and a separate 3.15% online payment facilitation fee applies for payments made online. Both are added to your invoice value, not folded into the quoted tariff.
Refunds are not given for unused or cancelled services once the tour has commenced. Before departure, cancellation charges scale with how close to your departure date the written notice is received — see the cancellation tiers below.
Deposit and payment arrangements are confirmed directly with our team once you enquire, since this site does not process payments or display bank details. Contact us with your dates for the specifics that apply to your booking.
Cancellation charges increase the closer you are to departure — from a partial charge around three to four weeks out, up to 100% of the package price for cancellations made one to four days before departure or in the case of a no-show.
